Question 01
Where can I buy bacteriostatic water by the kit in the US?
BacWater.fit sells bacteriostatic water (0.9% benzyl alcohol) by the kit, with US warehouse stock for US orders: 3, 5 and 10 mL vials in kits of 10, and 30 mL vials in kits of 25. Kit prices are on the site, US shipping is $9.90 per order, and every order ships with its lot COA.
US orders ship from our US warehouse; orders to other countries ship from China. No payment on the website: after you send the order request, our sales team confirms the price and shipping by WhatsApp or e-mail and arranges payment with you in the chat. Ships within 1–3 business days after payment is received; if anything changes, we tell you before it ships.

Question 02
How much does a kit of bacteriostatic water cost?
At BacWater.fit a kit of 10 vials costs $13.00 (3 mL), $14.00 (5 mL) or $15.00 (10 mL); a kit of 25 × 30 mL vials costs $155.00. Prices are per kit in USD, for 1–19 kits of a size; 20 or more kits of a size are quoted.
There is no volume discount below 20 kits and no free-shipping threshold: the total is kits × kit price plus US shipping of $9.90 per order. Shipping outside the US is quoted with the confirmation.

Question 03
What is the difference between bacteriostatic water and sterile water?
Bacteriostatic water is sterile water with 0.9% (v/v) benzyl alcohol added as a preservative, so one vial can be punctured more than once and is usually discarded 28 days after the first puncture. Sterile water has no preservative and is for single use.
Choose sterile water when a method rules out benzyl alcohol or the whole vial is used at once. A third option, 0.6% acetic acid water (pH 2.7–3.1), is for materials whose documentation asks for a dilute acid; it is single use too.
→ Choosing a diluent
Question 04
How long can an opened vial of bacteriostatic water be used?
Usually 28 days from the first puncture, unless the label gives a different period. Unopened vials keep until the expiry date of their lot when stored at 15–25 °C, away from light and not frozen.
The 28-day practice for opened multi-dose vials comes from CDC guidance. Benzyl alcohol slows bacterial growth between punctures; it does not make an opened vial keep indefinitely.
→ The 28-day rule
Question 05
Which size of bacteriostatic water vial should I buy?
The size you finish within 28 days of the first puncture: 3 or 5 mL for occasional use, 10 mL for up to about 10 mL in 28 days, 30 mL only for steady use of around 30 mL in that window. Water left on day 28 is discarded, so a big vial is only cheaper if you use it up.
Per millilitre, the 10 mL kit ($15.00 for 100 mL of water) is the lowest-priced size on BacWater.fit. The Size Finder works out the size and number of kits from your weekly use.

Question 06
How fast does BacWater.fit ship?
Ships within 1–3 business days after payment is received; if anything changes, we tell you before it ships. US orders ship from our US warehouse; orders to other countries ship from China. Usually 2–5 days within the United States.
Carrier: tracked courier or postal service, chosen per order. Other destinations: ask our sales team about your destination. US shipping is $9.90 per order; the tracking number and the lot COA follow when the order ships.

Question 07
Does bacteriostatic water from BacWater.fit come with a COA?
Yes. Every order ships with the certificate of analysis (COA) of its lot. Lot COAs come from our sales team: ask for the COA of the lot we would ship before you pay, or send a lot number from the Lot COA page.
Each product page lists the full release specification: appearance, identity, benzyl alcohol content (0.9% ± 0.1% v/v), pH, elemental impurities, preservative effectiveness, fill volume, particulate matter, bacterial endotoxins and sterility.
→ Lot COA
Question 08
What happens if bacteriostatic water arrives damaged?
Damaged in transit, wrong or missing items: we reship them. A quality problem with a product: we refund it in full, agreed with our sales team.
Contact us as soon as you can after delivery, with photos of the kit and vials. A change of mind is not a reason to send diluents back once shipped: their sterility cannot be vouched for after they leave us.
